Read to Rescues

Vallecito is partnering with the local non-profit, Jessica’s Haven, to build our independent reading muscles while reading to rescue dogs.  The dogs are paired one-on-one with a handler and specially selected to work with kids. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the dogs, ask the handlers questions, and then take turns reading to their new four-legged friend.
